KIWANIS BAYSHORE TRAIL
This 2.75 km lighted and paved multi-purpose trail is part of the Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail and borders the north shore of the Bay of Quinte with washrooms and a canteen.
BEST TRAIL – TIED!

POTTER’S CREEK
And easy to find in the Loyalist Loop trail in Potter’s Creek Conservation Area. It contains approximately 7 km of trails that exist throughout a diverse terrain of orchards, meadows, and forests.
BEST ACCESSIBLE TRAIL

TRENTON CENTENNIAL PARK
A paved waterfront trail that runs through the park and links to the Quinte West Pop-Ups with special events and seasonal activities in this park throughout the year, from fireworks to festivals. 
BEST CORN MAZE

CRICKLEWOOD FARM
Cricklewood Farm became an orchard sometime in the early 1940s. Since then, it has become a bucket list spot with a corn maze, pumpkins and farm-grown produce.
BEST PUMPKIN PATCH

CREW’S COUNTRY MARKET
Crew’s Country Market is a third-generation, family-operated, market vegetable farm and roadside market. Stop by for fresh produce in the summer and pumpkins in the fall.

GRILLS ORCHARDS
Grills Orchards is a country market offering locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, ice cream and most importantly, apples. But, we should mention the homemade fudge!

PRESQU’ILE PROVINCIAL PARK
Presqu’ile Provincial Park is home to 16 km of trails and paths and a 1-km marsh boardwalk trail. As migration hotspot for 338 recorded bird species, we’re pretty sure that bird is the word.

MOUNT PELION
Mount Pelion, also known as Trenton’s Mountain, is great for walking, hiking and biking. It also has an observation deck that offers a panoramic view of Quinte West.

ZWICK’S CENTENNIAL PARK
Zwick’s Centennial Park boasts scenic picnic spaces. A close bike ride or walk from Belleville’s downtown makes enjoying a take-out picnic in the park even easier.

QUINTE SPORTS AND WELLNESS CENTRE
The Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre is a multi-use recreation centre home to many facilities including a main, therapy and preschool pool.

One of the best ways to cool off on a hot summer’s day is at the Wilf Wilkinson Rotary Splash Pad in Trenton’s Centennial Park —the kids will thank you later!

Zwick’s Park, on the water in Belleville, is the perfect place to go for a stroll, picnic or experience nature in the city year-round.

Zwick’s Dog Park is a 3-acre, fenced-in dog park with a double-gated entrance for safety and separate spaces for small and large dogs.

North Beach has a nonslip, roll-up access mat to help those with walkers, wheelchairs, and strollers avoid a trek through the sand and get to the water’s edge quickly and safely.

Presqu’ile Provincial Park is the perfect place to soak up the sun! Enjoy the tranquil and scenic lakeside picnic and camping areas with 3 km of sandy beach.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities. 

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with. 

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
