MEET THE TEAM!

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is a public-private Destination Marketing and Management Organization with a mandate of marketing tourism and resident attraction for the partners of Belleville, Brighton, Greater Napanee, Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, Quinte Home Builders’ Association, and Quinte West.

JACK McAVOY (he/him)

Marketing Support Specialist

Jack is crucial in assisting the BoQ team with social media content, copywriting, and providing administrative support that keeps the organization on track.

ANNA FRAIBERG (she/her)

Digital Marketing Manager

Anna leads the BoQ digital marketing efforts, utilizing online channels and strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage with audiences, and drive growth in the digital sphere.

JEN ACHILLES (she/her)

Manager of Media and Design

Jen is the keeper and protector of the BoQ RMB brand. She oversees and guides the creative direction of marketing materials, ensuring they are visually appealing and align with the brand’s messaging and goals.

TREVOR NORRIS (he/him)

Destination Development Manager

Trevor is responsible for strategizing and implementing initiatives to enhance the appeal, infrastructure, and overall BoQ visitor experience.

DUG STEVENSON (he/him)

Executive Director

Dug is responsible for overseeing all of the BoQ RMB’s operations, setting strategic goals, and ensuring the organization’s mission is effectively carried out.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities. 

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with. 

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
